File Shkambi, age 72, passed away on June 20, 2026.

File was the beloved wife of Ndue for 55 years. Loving mother of Prek Shkambi, Vitore Guri, Liza Gjura, and the late Francesk Shkambi. Dearest mother-in-law of Pal Guri, Prek Gjura, and Jolanda Shkambi. Cherished grandmother Kristian, Kevin, Brandon, Manuel, Marsilda, Greta, Dorina, Juana, Jaime, Amanda, Mark, Elton and Jason. Dear sister of Geg Gjelaj, Prena, Pashka, Katrina and the late Nik, Gjergj, Pjetër, Lina and Gjyste. Sister-in-law of Shan Shkambi and Cam Shkambi. File was predeceased by her parents, Mark and Zoja Gjelaj.

Visitation for File will be held on Sunday, June 28th, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state on Monday, June 29th, at 9:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Albanians Catholic Church, 29350 Lahser Rd., Southfield, MI 48034. Following the Mass, File will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 25800 W. 10 Mile Rd., Southfield, MI 48033.
