Richard “Dick” Anthony Williams, age 90, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, passed away on August 7, 2026, with his loving daughter, Jodi, holding him.

Dick was born on July 28, 1936, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to the late Jack Gordon Williams and Olive Ada Robins Williams.

A lifelong entrepreneur, Dick owned many businesses throughout his life, including Mr. & Mrs. Kwik Copy, a printing and office supply company. He was a hardworking and talented man who loved working with his hands. Whether he was caring for his home, spending time outside, or taking on a new project, Dick found great satisfaction in staying busy and creating something worthwhile.

Dick shared 56 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Carol, who preceded him in death. His family finds comfort in believing she was there to welcome him home.

He is survived by his devoted daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Jason Wine, and his beloved granddaughter, Rhiannon Meeuwsen.

Dick was also preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Olive Williams; his brother, Chuck Williams; and his sister, Diane Pettis.

Dick loved reading, playing cards, and collecting coins. He especially enjoyed creating maps of state quarters for Jodi’s cousins’ children. Each year, he took great care—and had so much fun—finding and preparing the quarters to add to their collections. It was one of the many ways he shared his interests and brought happiness to others.

More than anything, Dick loved being around people. He genuinely cared for everyone and always looked forward to meeting someone new. His warmth, kindness, integrity, and brilliant smile made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation for Mr. Williams will be held on Friday, August 14th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. A private family burial service will be held for Mr. Williams where he will be laid to rest in Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley. 

Family and friends are invited to gather for an evening meal and celebration of Dick’s life at Gino’s Pizzeria, Keego Harbor, beginning at 6:00 p.m. continuing until closing.

Memorial donations in Mr. Wiliams name may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
