Elsie Athea Chartier, age 101, passed away September 24, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank H. Loving mother of Suzanne Cornelius, Robert (Robin), Clarissa (Gregory) Stoneback, the late Patricia Fennell and the late Frank. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Christopher, Frank, Jaclyn, Jessica, Melissa, Colleen, Sarah, Patrick, Stephen, Diana, Elisabeth, the late Joseph and the late James. Great-grandmother of Darcy, Charlotte, Emma, James, Rosalyn, Duncan, Eliza, Frankie and Flora.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with an evening Rosary Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state on Monday, September 28th, at 10:30 a.m., until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.

Memorial donations in Elsie's name can be made to Knights of Columbus - St. Fabian Council.
