Francine Anne Kearly, age 82, of Canton, passed away on October 2, 2026.

Francine had a natural talent for interior decorating and took great pleasure in creating beautiful and welcoming spaces, including having a knack for floral arrangements. She found delight in small details and could change something that at first looked plain into something that looked marvelous. She had a deep appreciation for art and architecture as well as music, especially live performances.

She also valued caring for her health and embraced a vegetarian lifestyle. She loved to read and expand her knowledge of new subjects, especially late in life.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Francine found immense happiness in watching her children and grandchildren grow and lived vicariously through their experiences and accomplishments. They brought her tremendous fulfillment and were a cherished part of her life.

Francine will be remembered for her appreciation of beauty and kindness, her thoughtfulness, and, above all, the love she had for her family.

Francine is survived by her son, Peter Ryan-Kearly (Leslie) Kim; her daughter, Morgan Anne (Scott) Kearly-Wilson; her grandchildren, Mya Anne, Peter Joe, and Theodore Joseph Kim; and her sister, Sherry (Bill) Stuehr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold Kearly, and her son, Patrick Michael Kearly.

A gathering for Francine will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., until the time of her Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m., at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Francine’s name may be made to the March of Dimes.
