We are so very sorry to hear of RJ's death. He along with Ann Marie were always so welcoming to us and our boys, we loved spending time with the Gibbs family. Sending our love to his family.

I wish you all the best in the loss of your father and grandfather
He will be remembered fondly. He always greeted me like an old friend, not just a neighbor. He was an awesome man.
Fortunate to count Richard as a friend and fellow parish member @ St. Regis. Great memories will carry us through. God Bless
A second father, and second family to many. I will remember him and Mrs. Gibbs fondly.
I always enjoyed talking with Richard. Listening to stories about his family, and the jokes he could tell. He was well liked by his fellow members of St. Regis Knights of Columbus.
To the Gibbs family...please accept my deepest condolences for Rich's passing. Truly enjoyed being associated with him and his entire family.
Heard you are moving to a better neighborhood, but you also made our neighborhood better.
Your former neighbors,
Robyn and Charlie Polzin
The best summer neighbour anyone could ask for. Always a smile and a good word. Will truly be missed.
Rick
He stood firm in the faith, and that is what I admired most in him... and yes, I was able to tell him so. Our differences in life perspective and styles remain trivial. He deserved my admiration since I met him first back in 1968, and deserves it still. To his children who knew me best, their spouses and children, I offer my most sincere sympathies for RJ's departure. With utmost respect and best wishes to you all...
I remember meeting Mr. Gibbs for the first time sixty years ago, as he lovingly reminded me on several occasions. As a 10 year old, I knocked on the front door of that beautiful shingled cottage on the shore of Lake Erie in Leamington, looking for a kid who had just dropped my little sister on our teeter totter a few doors away. Amused by all this, Mr. Gibbs greeted me cheerfully as that kid hid out of sight behind him, and that was the beginning of a special friendship between two families, one American and one Canadian.
I am eternally grateful for having known Mr. Gibbs for his example of kindness, generosity, and playful, uplifting sense of humour. And for years of summer fun sailing, swimming, waterskiing, and amazing meals overlooking the lake with the best neighbours ever.
Thank you Jamie, Honey, Joe, Mimi, Katie, and Larry, for sharing your Dad, and Mum, with us.
Deepest condolences to you and your families and friends for your loss, and ours.
I enjoyed many happy hours of Feldenkrais classes with Mr. Gibbs, always a perfect gentleman and a delight to behold. His inner joy and kindness filled the room when he was there. My deepest sympathies to Katie and all his family.
