I just learned of Bud's passing. Indeed a regretful surprise. We were on the EMU campus at the same time and also on the Howell High School track team at the same time. At our multi-year HHS class reunion in 2019, we had a good conversation about our past school days. Bud's family can be proud of his accomplishments, he certainly will be missed. Best wishes for the future.

Bud was my roommate in Munson Hall at EMU during my first year. We got along great and remained friends for our years at EMU. I went to track meets to root for Bud. Over the years I would run into him at Basketball and football games and we would reminisce about those days. Great guy and the longest name at EMU back then. I recently went to the EMU vs Michigan game and was disappointed that I didn't see Bud there. He always brought back great memories.
