Condolence

Iam very saddened to know that Lincoln is no longer with us. He was a truly dedicated Board Director and President Emeritus of Keep Michigan Beautiful. He was such a kind, loving and soft-spoken person. My deepest condolences to Lincoln's family and friends. He will always be remembered as a beloved part of the KMB family. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten!

Dear Family of Lincoln Avery, a gracious and loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, who served his community and citizens of Michigan so very well. I believe with Lincoln's last breath on this Earth, he was met by his Good Lord, with His arms stretched out to Welcome Lincoln Home. May the whole family find comfort & peace in the Memories of a dear gentleman you all will share. Sincerely, Don Graham, friend in Allen Park

I attended McKinley School 1953-59 and Mr. Avery was my favorite teacher when I was in sixth and seventh grades. It was such wonderful surprise to see him again at First Presbyterian when I was the guest organist there several years ago. What a fine gentleman he was. My condolences for your loss.

I am so grateful for Lincoln's support of the Farmington Public Schools during my tenure as its Superintendent. Lincoln and Mary were devoted to the community and the schools. Whenever we needed Lincoln to serve on a committee, such as the Beautification Committee or to substitute teach, he always came through. His kindness and friendship is cherished. My deepest condolences to Molly and the family. Sue Zurvalec, Retired Superintendent, Farmington Public Schools

Lincoln was my administrator at Brace-Lederle for Southfield Adult Education. I enjoyed my years working for him. He was kind and I cherish the memories of those days. Please let me know of the Celebration of Life Service.

I was a teacher with Avery at the Magnolia School in the 1970s. I would very much like to attend his Celebration of Life service when it is planned. Any chance that you could send me a notice? Thanks so much. Don Berndf
