This beautifully written tribute/obituary says it all. I worked with Kevin for years at ProQuest and he always was the "calming force" at work. He always made me laugh. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family. Kevin was an amazing guy.

Deepest condolences are just not enough for the family and friends of Kevin. I never met him in person, though we exchanged a few messages on LinkedIn, but he had a profound positive impact on our lives via his empathy, compassion, insight, leadership, and mentorship of my daughter. He was my daughter's manager at Proquest, the first job she had after graduating from EMU. We had hoped to meet him last summer at my daughter's wedding but his devotion to caring for his family prevented him from attending and we understood why. We never imagined that there would not be another opportunity. It is a heart wrenching loss. If it weren't for the very decent death of my father and being in the midst of moving my mother from Oklahoma to Ohio, we would attend Kevin's services to pay our respects and show our appreciation for the person he was. I am grateful my daughter will be able to attend.

I worked with Kevin at ProQuest, and while we didn't meet in person, I know he was dedicated to his work there and was always extremely helpful and quick to respond with a sense of urgency and HUMOR! I am so sorry for your loss. He will be deeply missed at work.
