I will miss you greatly, Uncle George. I am so blessed to have had you as a mentor in my life. You touched so many by being that common thread that weaved through so many lives. You taught us how to live faithfully to God, family, and community. I thank God for the life you lived. I take comfort in the peace and joy you are feeling now- being reunited with those that have gone before us.
Your nephew,
John

Feeling stunned and saddened upon news of his passing after visiting with him this past Monday. Grateful for the time to visit, reflect on memories and talk. I'm forever grateful for the loving support shown to his sister, our Mom, for as long as I can remember. He would frequently check in on her (and us) as he did with many other family members. He will be missed and his legacy lives on in so many ways with all he did throughout his life. Thinking about the reunion/family gathering a few years back that he made possible. Giving those of us who attended the opportunity to reconnect, do the polka and provide for lots of laughter and photo ops during an upbeat event. We know heaven gained another good one and pray for those here that are feeling the loss. We love you Uncle George. Xoxo

My mother was his godmother and before she left this earth she made George promise to look after me, which he did full heartedly. He has been my confident for over 60 years now and I will miss him greatly. RIP dear cousin, God Bless, I love you.
