Dear Goletz and Quaglia families,
please accept my deepest condolences on Cristina's passing. As a Spanish-speaking educational audiologist, I worked with Cristina evaluating and serving many of the same children and their families as long as she worked for the schools in Detroit. I will miss having her to consult with, and will miss witnessing Cristina's fierce yet gentle caring defense of students; to her, it was essential to support family, community, and culture in order for a child to thrive.

For as long as I knew Cristina, everything she did was for her family. I'll always miss her. She was strong, funny and attentive. It was an honor and a pleasure.

Our family will never be the same without Aira. She was a beloved member of our small family, and her absence will forever leave a void in our hearts.
