Mrs. George was a wonderful Mother, Wife and Person. I have been best friends with her son Paul for over 50 years and both Mr. and Mrs. George were so very kind and supportive of me through the years. They were almost like 2nd parents to me. She will be greatly missed. Though time and employment have taken me away from the Detroit area, I visit frequently and always tried to see Mrs. George upon my trips. She always had a kind word and usually a huge meal waiting for me, including her famous meat pies. She did a wonderful job of raising a family while maintaining a work schedule and remember her being there for all of Paul's sporting events....no matter the location.
