Uncle Jim, so many wonderful memories. I visited you guys at every move...South Bend, IN, Atlanta, GA, & Detroit.MI and every visit was so special & memorable. Of course the normal bantering, joking, & lots of love & hugs! I may not have been "the goddaughter" but I am the next best! Forever in my heart! Love you! ??

I will always remember our annual Golf Tournament that I always and annually won. I was score keeper every year and every year Jim would score about 75 in the first 3 holes and he'd lose about 14 balls. My golf scores were never audited or I would probably have gone to jail. By the way, I got a hole in one once on my second shot.

Uncle JC (as he became known to all of us) was a wonderful and unique man. I grew up knowing him as "Uncle Jimmy". I remember as a kid always being a little scared of him because his personality was SO large...yet contagious! He was one of those people that walked into a room and you KNEW he was there! Vivacious, witty, sarcastic, yet so welcoming to all. If he liked you...you were special. Fiercely devoted to family and special friends...you always knew where you stood with him...his love for you showed in everything he did. I will miss him so much, yet take great joy in knowing where he is...#causingtroubleinHeaven!
