Gerry was a warm, down to earth person. She had a way of making you feel special when ever you were in her presence. All the Ryan girls have this quality. My mother Kathleen and late father, Raymond enjoyed their trips to Northern Michigan with Uncle Adrian and Aunt Pat, Gerry and Jack. She talked about what a lovely place Gerry and Jack had and about the loons. The trips to the casino were also high on the list of fun. Although those memories are no longer in my mother's mind, I know they are in her soul. Thank You Gerry.

I have know Gerry for about 25 years, but really got to know her the past 3-4 years through many long discussions on anything from family to sports to politics. Gerry in her last years always felt she was burdening those around her. I only hope she knows just how much that was not true. I always found myself eager to see her and talk about our day . She always managed to make me laugh with her dry sense of humor and wit, no matter how my day went, good or bad. I hold many fond memories of her and Jack with our kids, she was always so good to them. Our wine dates which always brought laughter, and her amazing mind which held strong until the end. She was a friend, and she became family and we will sorely miss her presence and ever feel her absence.
