There are so many memories. The one that stands out was early in my recovery we were talking about the 3rd step in AA which is "Made a decision to turn our will and life over to God" I was struggling with this step, overthinking it. Jack banged on the table and said "you just make a decision" that's it! Simple as that sounds it was just what I needed to hear at the time, so I could move forward and I needed that said in a way I could hear it. You are missed Mr. Shaw, rest in peace, till we meet again.
