I was one of the neighborhood kids who got to enjoy the famous Cutcher hospitality. From playing basketball in the drive, to shooting pool in the basement to watching the Ghould on Saturday nights in the Cutcher den. It was, throughout my childhood "the" place to be. Dr. Cutcher was always gracious and friendly (treated my feet on a couple occasions too.) With seven children and what seemed like an endless parade of neighborhood kids over, Dr. and Mrs. Cutcher were unflappable which was indeed, no small feat! I'd often come home after the sun had risen only to be questioned by my Mom. All I had to say was, "I was at the Cutchers!" and Mom was satisfied. My condolences to the entire Cutcher clan.
Memories
There are so many memories that come to mind when I think about my grandpa and his home. He had the courage to welcome his home to me and my brothers with open arms to spend the summers and holidays and I cannot be more grateful for all the memories I made there as a child.
One memory that sticks out to me the most was when my mom and my brothers left for Chicago for the weekend and it was just me and my Grandpa. I vividly remember going to church with him, going to feed grandma at the nursery home and then proceeded to go to the movies to see Spider-Man 2 before our last stop at Leo's to get a burger and a milkshake. It was the best day and something that I will remember forever.
Dear Dr. Doug and family
I am so sorry to hear of your Dads passing. He will be missed by all. Words cannot express my feelings of seeing him and you when I would make my calls to your office. It was always a highlight in my day.
I always enjoyed seeing him and always talking of sports, CC Football and places to eat! You both made me feel so welcome at the office.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless you all

In 2005 on a chilly fall night my mom and I were at a CC football game cheering for my brother on the field and my dad on the sideline. Little did we know I would meet my now, "second family". I was running around the baseball field and found a fun curly headed gal who ended up being, Katie. She said "come meet my grandpa. He's really funny" we proceeded to find him and he did in fact make us laugh. That night we found out we would be attending St. Fabian and from there on I gained a second family and friends for life.
Grateful for Jerry's love for Catholic Central and bringing me some of the best people I know.
