I went to OLS and Mercy with Vanessa and I specifically remember her singing in church one time and I got shivers because of how beautiful her voice was. Thinking of and praying for Vanessa's family. May she rest in peace singing in Heaven ??.

I still remember the very first time I met Vanessa, her sweet spirit was something you could feel right away. Whenever she came over to the house, I knew I could always count on a hug. She had such a natural way of bringing warmth with her. Vanessa was such a good friend to our son, and over the years she became a part of our lives too. One of my favorite memories is a video I have of Ephraim and Vanessa doing the hustle at a party -- it never fails to make me smile. That's how we will remember her: full of life, laughter, and love.
