Dear Nahed, Alan, Mark and families Michel and I, are ever so saddened to read about Tony's passing. My heart goes out to you all. We hope he hasn't been suffering and he had a peaceful end. I know, his birthday was very recent and I was trying to find the correct date to send him our wishes on messenger. So, it is a very painful shock to read your email today. I knew Tony, tante Georgette, his siblings and uncle George, all my life. As a young child, I used to see them often. But very soon, everyone moved away from Mansourah and Tony went to the USA and it was not until much later I met him and you together, in weddings and happier times. Nice memories to treasure and keep for ever. I will always remember him as a very kind and quiet cousin, who had the courage to go alone to the USA and start a new and better life. Emigration involves numerous challenges and as a young man, Tony, must have been immensely brave, resilient, adaptable and determined to succeed so far away from his family and familiar surroundings. It must be very hard, particularly for you dear Nahed, after half a century being together. I can't imagine the depth of your sorrow. Yet, I want you to know -You, Alan and Mark are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Natalie and George are joining us in sending you our deepest sympathy and much love to all of you .
