Gordie was my classmate throughout elementary school and we were lifelong friends who always kept in touch. We played hockey and baseball together and had season tickets to the Lions. I grew up around his parents, Stu and Barbara, who were wonderful people. Gordie was a faithful friend who I will miss!

Spent four years as floormate at MSU Armstrong Hall and at Terrace East Shaw Hall. Enjoyed sitting in the bleachers with Gordie a couple times watching Mark "The Bird" Fidrych pitching a couple times at Tiger Stadium in 1977. Gordie got me hooked on the music of Genesis and we attended a concert in 1977 at the Masonic Auditorium.
